Thousands of users in a sudden Facebook distraction

 




WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, along with various services on the Facebook platform, were abruptly shut down for some time on Thursday. Thousands of Facebook users complained that they could not access the platform.


Down Detector.com, a site that monitors online service disruptions said Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram services had been shut down. According to technology website Engadget, Facebook has also confirmed the matter.



A tweet from Facebook said several services had been shut down due to a configuration change. Now all the services are supposed to go online again.


According to the news agency Reuters, yesterday 1 lakh 12 thousand Facebook users, 1 lakh 1 thousand Instagram users and 517 WhatsApp users highlighted the problem. However, no immediate statement was given by Facebook.


According to DownDetector.com, a large number of users have reported problems with Facebook's sudden shutdown. However, Engadget has updated the information that many people have been able to return to Facebook gradually.
