The country is struggling to provide treatment: Health Minister

Health Minister Zahid Malek has said that doctors are struggling to provide services in the country as the global epidemic of coronavirus infection has increased alarmingly. Patient pressure in hospitals has increased so much that our health workers are struggling to provide services. Many are not getting treatment in the hospital.

He said this at a virtual meeting organized by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on the occasion of World Health Day. "We are trying to increase the number of beds in almost all the hospitals," he said. Efforts continue to be made to provide extra beds for corona patients by reducing the number of normal patients. It will also hurt ordinary patients.
