The bridge minister has informed about two challenges of the government

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the government's challenge at the moment is to tackle the corona infection and prevent the activities of extremist communal groups. In order to face these two challenges, it has become an urgent duty to further coordinate the work of the government and the unity of the party, said the General Secretary of the Awami League.

Obaidul Quader made the remarks after inaugurating a 50-km stretch of road from Cox's Bazar Link Road to Unchi Prang at a cost of Tk 305 crore on Tuesday morning. He joined the event via video conference from his official residence in Dhaka.

The bridge minister directed to strictly abide by the lockdown directive against laxity and indifference among the people in the deteriorating situation of Corona. He said, forgetting the differences at this time, the party leaders and workers should unite and strengthen the hand of the brave Sheikh Hasina in this fight.

The bridge minister commented that the BNP wants to show their irresponsibility by imposing responsibility on the government in everything. He said the BNP secretary general had linked the natural disaster with the launch sinking. The BNP has lost the ability to consider which is the responsibility of the government and which is not.

The general secretary of the Awami League said that the criticism has blinded the BNP to such an extent that now they are also blaming the government for the death of Kalbaishakhi. It may be seen in the coming days that the BNP is also blaming the government for the death of the lightning.

Obaidul Quader mentioned that the Sheikh Hasina government is the first to respond to any public issue. He said the Awami League was the first to cooperate with the people in the disaster.

The general secretary of the Awami League said, 'What has the BNP done for the welfare of the country and the nation in these difficult times? Seeing that, their lies and malpractices as well as their irresponsibility towards the people became clear. The BNP ends its responsibility with lip service at home.

Addressing the BNP, Obaidul Quader said, "Such a runaway attitude of a political party and its indifference to the welfare of the people calls into question its (BNP's) commitment to the people."
