Myanmar army kills 600 democrats



More than 700 people have been reported killed in shootings and raids by pro-democracy protesters in Myanmar since the military coup. At least 72 people were killed in security operations in different parts of the country on Friday and Saturday. News of the New York Times.


It is learned that 3,012 people have been detained so far. Besides, arrest warrants have been issued against 656 people. Among them are politicians, celebrities and ordinary citizens of the country.


It is worth mentioning that the Myanmar army seized power on February 1, alleging rigging in the November elections. Top politicians, including President Wint Mint and ruling NLD leader Aung San Suu Kyi, were arrested.
