77 More people die by Coronavirus

There has been a recent uptick in coronavirus infections and deaths. A record number of 77 people have died in the last 24 hours in Coronavirus. And 5 thousand 343 new patients have been identified. This information was given in the regular press release of the health department on Saturday.

In the last 24 hours (from 6 am on Friday to 8 am on Saturday), 26,006 people have been tested. Considering the sample test, the patient identification rate is 20.49 percent.

So far, a total of 6 lakh 8 thousand 936 people have been diagnosed with corona infection in the country. Of these, 9,061 people died. A total of 5 lakh 72 thousand 37 people have recovered.

63 people died in Coronavirus on Friday. And 6,482 new patients were identified.

On March 6 last year, the government announced the first corona in the country. Infections began to increase from mid-May last year. By the third week of August, the detection rate was over 20 percent. From then on the detection rate started to decrease.

From June to August, the three months of coronavirus heart disease were severe. Occasionally there was a slight increase in November-December but the rest of the time the infection was downward. The second wave of Coronavirus started in March this year. This time the infection is more intense than the first wave. The number of patients undergoing treatment in the country was declining as they were healthier than identified for several months. But since March, the number of patients undergoing treatment has also started rising again.

Whether an infection is under control in a country is determined by some of the indicators set by the World Health Organization. One of them is the patient identification rate. If the patient identification rate is below 5 percent for more than two consecutive weeks, the situation is considered to be under control. From the beginning to the end of February this year, the detection rate was below 3 percent. Two months later, on March 10, the daily identification was released again. After that the daily identification is increasing.

Public health experts say the situation is deteriorating in the second wave of corona infections in the country. As the infection increased, the government issued a 16-point directive on March 29 with some restrictions. One of them is the use of a mask when going out of the house. But despite the alarming rise in infections, there is still a lack of public awareness of hygiene. Public health experts say there is no substitute for hygiene, including wearing a mask, to control infections.
